If you're looking for the perfect combination of drag-screaming action, beautiful scenery, and calm waters, then this trip is your ticket. North Carolina's Outer Banks is a widely known as world-renowned fishing destination, but its vast, interconnected network of protected inshore sounds is often overlooked. This inshore environment is ideal for hooking up a record fish, whether you're chasing a personal best Redfish or a variety of other species, including Speckled Trout, Flounder, Striped Bass, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Sheepshead, Cobia, Tarpon, and more. On this trip, you'll employ several different techniques, from casting artificial lures to jigging the bottom to live-baiting. Captain Joey is an expert fisherman who has fished this area for his whole life, and knows exactly how to put you on the fish. In addition, he holds a degree in aquaculture and prides himself on his fishing knowledge. On the day of the trip, you'll get off the dock aboard Captain Joey's 27' Custom Carolina skiff. She has a classic "Carolina flare" and is built to cut through choppy waves with ease. Plus, she's powered by a 225 HP Honda VTEC engine, so you'll be on the fish in no time. She's the ideal type of boat for fishing these waters, including shallower areas where certain species like to congregate. In addition, she features a bathroom, ample cabin space, a sighting tower for spotting fish such as Cobia and Tarpon, and all of the electronics you could want, from fishfinders to GPS and more. Bring along a pair of polarized sunglasses, a hat, proper clothing, and sunscreen to maximize your experience on the water! Read More

We booked a trip with captain Jaime for two days in the beginning of our trip. My fiancé is an avid fisherman, and was able to pick captain Jamie‘s brain for information on the area, and he gladly shared. Captain brought us to some great spots, and there were some fish caught. We even got to fish one of the shipwrecks from the Civil War, which was amazing. We couldn’t of asked for a more hospitable and kind and knowledgeable guide for this trip.

My son and I had such a fun trip with Captain Jamie! He was great with my son, a patient teacher, and he navigated the area with ease. He even tried to hook us a shark! We also saw dolphins and lovely wildlife, and we caught some interesting fish. My son can’t wait to go back and is counting down the days until we see Jamie again!

We had an awesome time with capt. Joe. He worked extremely hard to put us on the fish. Water conditions weren't to our favor, But we will be back next year. Can't wait to fish with our new found friend again. And have another great day on the water. ☆☆☆☆☆

Captain Dave was amazing! We went to a few different spots and caught a good bit of fish. Youre guaranteed to have a great time out there!

Captain G is the man! We had a blast on our trip chasing reds on soft plastics and fly inshore, hammering flounder at G's secret spot, loading up on Spanish Mackerel at the jetties, running the beaches for cobia and catching bluefish and a 6' Blacktip Shark, and then running a few miles off to try our luck on some amberjack. This trip was a wild nonstop adventure and I came away amazed at the variety of fishing opportunities Captain G can line up at the drop of a hat. There was never a dull moment and G's setup is perfect for skinny water, zipping down the coast, and fishing open water offshore. His gear is top of the line and he was super quick to re-rig tackle when needed so we were keeping lines wet. 10/10 and can't wait to fish with G again sometime soon. -Jonathan with Captain Experiences

Daneil is an amazing captain. He made sure that we got a large variety of fishing experiences, we caught so many that we loss count of how many fishes were caught...we just had such an amazing day. My 17 yr old grandson slept nearly the whole way home. Highly recommend him

Captain Grey was outstanding. Under typically iffy December conditions on Pamlico Sound he put us into trout and drum. I've fished with 4 other charters over the past decade in the Carolinas and Captain Grey was best.
