Rob doesn't just help you catch fish during a guided trip. His passion and enthusiasm for fly fishing will entertain you all day. Rob's vast knowledge of local flora and fauna and his understanding of how they interact in and around their environment sets him apart from other guides or instructors. This is what makes Rob so unique. Additionally you will learn local history from urban legends to historic markers surrounding the fisheries. If you forgot something Rob said during your trip you can most likely find it discussed on his podcast.
Rob is a great guide and knows what he’s doing. I highly recommend him. 1) I appreciate his social distancing practices. He never took his mask off. 2) His background in biology added to the experience 3) He’s a good fishing coach if you need it but knows when to stop talking. 4) The same is true of his stories. They’re great without distracting from the fishing. Great soft skills.
Great day of fishing. Rob is terrific guide!
Rob is without a doubt one of the most seasoned fisherman i've ever come across. Put me on 9 fish first time ever throwing a fly rod.
