About Your Guide

16 Years of Experience

At a young age I’ve had a life goal and a dream to one day be a fishing charter captain. I grew up in Houston learning the Texas way of wade fishing for trout and reds. While at college in South Texas, my passion grew as I waded Baffin Bay for trophy trout, and the crystal-clear flats of Port Aransas for shallow water reds. Settling down with my wife and starting a family in Houston, I found where I would call my home water, Matagorda Bay. The diverse waters of the Matagorda Bay complex allow for poling in and through marsh complexes on the East side to backwater coves with clear, clean water, and sandbars down West. Come and see the diversity that Matagorda offers, and strip set into a fish of your life.
