Guided by Trey Albaugh
River
Captain Trey began fly fishing 10 years ago, at the age of 14. His parents gave him a fly rod for Christmas, and he began catching bass, bluegill and carp on the 8’ 4 weight rod in NW Houston, TX. Upon graduation from high school, he became obsessed with the sport of fly fishing.
He learned quickly that there’s world-class fly fishing in New Braunfels, TX and that he wanted to offer others a chance to share the same experiences. He began taking teammates fly fishing and teaching them everything he knew.
After graduating from Texas Lutheran University, Trey went to Colorado and learned the fisheries of the Gunnison River Valley. Spending the summer networking and learning from veteran anglers and guides was invaluable to him, and now he's a pro guide on his own! He hopes to share his knowledge, experience, and passion with you on the river. See ya soon!
