About Your Trip
Come on down to Galveston, Texas and enjoy a fishing escapade to remember! Captain Derek will be by your side throughout your 4-hour adventure exploring the Galveston Bay Complex. He’ll launch these trips out of Trinity Bay, West Bay, or East Bay depending on the weather and where the fish are biting harder.
He’ll help you target Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, using live bait (shrimp and croaker) and artificial bait. You may purchase extra live
bait for an additional price. If you would like to wade fish, let Captain Derek know, he is more than willing to accommodate! For these trips, Captain Derek uses his 21’ Saber Cat bay boat which can accommodate up to 4 anglers. This boat is the perfect vessel for exploring Galveston's inshore waters and comes loaded with a power pole anchoring system, a Minn Kota trolling motor, iced down coolers for your snacks and drink, and cushioned seats. Captain Derek is also passionate about showing little ones the ropes, so this trip is great for families!
Make sure you bring a valid Texas saltwater fishing license, food and drinks of your choice, a hat, sunscreen, and an ice chest for your day’s catch. Captain Derek will provide all of the best rods, reels, and lures, and will even offer to clean and fillet your fish at no additional cost after you've loaded up the box!
