Guided by Eric Whitley
Captain Eric grew up bass fishing with his dad across Texas lakes and ponds, but as soon as he first fished saltwater he was hooked for life.
Captain Eric endlessly explores the saltwater of the Upper Texas Coast and is constantly trying to find new and untouched skinny water.
After one day on the water with the late Texas fly fishing legend Captain Chris Phillips in West Galveston Bay, Captain Eric knew fly fishing for Texas Redfish was how I wanted to spend my time.
Must like Captain Chris instilled Eric's passion for casting to tailing Texas redfish, he looks forward to imparting the same with you on your next day on the water with his charters.
Hop on board Captain Eric and enjoy a memorable day of fly fishing! You can expect to target Redfish (Captain Eric’s favorite), Sheepshead, Black Drum, and Trout as you traverse the flats of Galveston Bay on your 5-hour (half-day) or 8-hour (full-day) trip. The trip can host 2 people. Captain Eric requires you to bring a Texas Fishing License with a saltwater stamp and recommends that you bring sunscreen, sunglasses (polarized), and any food and drink of your choice. He will provide the flies as well as water and ice. Listen closely to Captain Eric - he’ll take you to where the fish are biting! Read More
