Located 40 miles east of Laredo, Falcon Lake is a reservoir along the Rio Grande River. Surprisingly, lake sinks to 110 feet deep at the dam, and covers a 83,654 acre surface area according to Captain Robert.
The lake rests along the Texas / Mexico border and is known for coughing up legendary Largemouth Bass. The current lake rod and reel records are 15.63 pounds and 28 inches long for Falcon Largemouth Bass, 60 pounds and 44 inches long for Blue Catfish, 29.90 pounds and 37 inches long for Flathead Catfish!
