Guided by Bryce Wickliffe
Flats Inshore
Captain Bryce fishes all over the Coastal Bend. He is based out of Rockport but can easily meet to pick you up in Port Aransas or in Corpus Christi as well.

We started the morning with very high winds but Capt Bryce managed to still put us on some fish. Great Job! Great time! I will be using him again! Highly recommended!

Bryce hands down was the best guide!

Awesome trip with a great Captain who put us on a bunch of fish. We were pretty much beginners when we started and felt like experts by the end of our trip.

Had a great time with Bryce yesterday. Caught some nice fish. Didn't quite catch a boat full but he knows his way around very well andTommy does a great job too. I would recommend. Was a fun day with Bryce

Captain Bryce was a really nice guy and vey knowledgeable about the fish. We limited out on reds and had a lot of fun fishing. Boat was nice and clean. Only downfall is we paid for 8hr trip and expected to fish other types of fish as well with various fishing methods. He was only prepared for reds and since we limited out we only actually stayed out about 5 hrs. That was disappointing but otherwise had a great time and would absolutely recommend him. …

Capt was fantastic, great trip. Limited out on Reds. Can’t wait until the next time. Would recommend Capt Bryce to all that want to experience a fun and productive fishing trip.

Capt. Bryce works very hard to get us on fish. We covered a large area and many spots in San Antonio Bay under windy conditions. A beautiful day. My daughters and granddaughter all had a great time. We look forward to going out with Bryce again. Keith R, Austin TX …

Captain Brice is an excellent guide who knows his craft. On a very wind day we caught lots of fish. Brice exceeded my expectations by far. Brett C Longview, TX

Bryce is an awesome captain. He has been doing this for a long time and is very knowledgeable. The boat ride, listening to his descriptions of locations, fish, and history of the bay was the best part. The day was super windy and the fish weren't biting but Bryce kept trying different tactics. He drove us to numerous locations to find them and tried different baits so we were able to catch some fish and enjoy them for dinner. It was a really good trip. Thanks Bryce! …

Limited out! Three of the four people on our recent outing caught their limit of redfish ... and we had to tag two of the big ones. Captain Bryce always provides a great fishing experience, and the weather and tide conditions were in our favor, which was a nice bonus. What impresses us is that Bryce knows where the redfish are hanging out, based on weather, tide conditions, water temperature, etc., and he kept us moving around so we could get the big ones. Another thing we like is that he doesn't limit our time on the water -- we fished for a full 8 hours. What a blast! We'll be back, for sure. …

Another success! We went out with Captain Bryce for a second time and went home with nice keepers -- 3 redfish and a black drum. And it wasn't easy -- a strong cold front had blown in the day before, the day was foggy and cloudy, and the tide was super-high, about 2' -- so Bryce worked really hard to find the fish. But he managed to do just that. We caught a couple here and there (even a little flounder -- so cute), but the action wasn't steady, so we moved around a lot. What really impressed us is (1) Bryce wasn't about to give up, and (2) he knows the area well enough to set a winning course. He decided to check out an area he usually doesn't go in to (it kind of looked looked like a pond nestled in among the flats) because typically the water back there is way too shallow. But because the tide was so high, and the water was warmer, he found where everybody had been hanging out. We pulled in several small redfish (and a couple of keepers) with pretty much every cast. Also, Captain Bryce is a good fit for us; he can carry a conversation, but he's not too chatty. He is always on point -- keeping fresh bait on our hooks and an extra line in the water. Overall a great day -- we had fun and went home with fish -- so rewarding. …

Things went well for fishing it's not called catching! Bryce spent all day giving everything he has to offer to put us on Reds, nice job.

We really enjoyed our experience with Captain Bryce and have already booked another outing with him. Good boat, good gear, very organized, very knowledgeable; he kept the poles constantly loaded up with live bait, and we always had an extra pole in the water, too. When we got to the first spot to fish, Capt. Bryce casually baited a hook and threw out the first line for us. He got a hit before he could finish his sentence and hand the pole to one of us, which we all thought was pretty funny. The fishing was mostly steady from that point on; we caught a lot of smaller redfish (I lost count) and a couple of black drum (one was the right size but spit out the hook as he got to the boat -- aaargh!). We went home happy for such a great day on the water and satisfied with two keeper redfish (22" and 24"). We particularly appreciated that Captain Bryce doesn't have a strict time limit for his trips. We spent 7 hours in glorious weather in various spots, and both of our keeper fish would have been missed had we been hauled back to shore strictly at the 4-hour point. …

Had a good trip for redfish on the flats near Port Aransas. It was a cold windy start but the captain’s knowledge of baits and area landed us many redfish despite the weather. Thanks, Also my brother got hit by bird poop twice coming back in, while I somehow avoided the explosions by inches …
