Deep Sea Flats Inshore Nearshore
Captain Mark's time in the Florida Keys was some 40 years ago, in 1975. Skeletons of old bridges that he and his buddies traveled still loom off one side or the other of the New Bridges. They connect the Keys and end at Key West, the Southern Most Point in the United States.
He didn’t have the same appreciation for the Keys back then as he has today. The water & water sports like snorkeling and kayaking, the tropical beauty, the smells, warm breezes, great food (and drink), the music, the laid back atmosphere, and best of all “The Saltwater Fishing”. Not to mention, you're able to enjoy it all in the good ol’ USA without the hassle of international travel!
He's fished on Charters, with friends and acquired his own boat(s) where he heads out front (The Ocean Side) or out back (The Gulf Side) for some of the best Saltwater Fishing anywhere on the planet. He targets numerous species like Cobia, Permit, Trout, Snappers, Grouper, Hogfish, Sharks, Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and Porgies, just to name a few.
After sharing Florida Keys experiences with friends and clients that have fished & hunted with him the past thirty plus years, it was obvious to Captain Mark that there’s a lot of passion and interest for what The Keys have to offer.
With the help and support of his Kansas, Nebraska, Florida Keys Partner, Girl and Best Friend Sandi, he decided to set up a charter fishing service based on Big Pine Key, Florida. With his newly acquired Captains License, he's all set to take you on an exciting fishing adventure!

Mark was a terrific captain. He knew exactly where the fish were and had us pulling up fun (and delicious) fish all morning. I’d highly recommend. Good with children!
Outstanding day of fishing. Capt. Beamer made a last minute adjustment because of the wind and put us on the fish. We had bent rods for over 4 hours with too many different species to count but a lot of really good Lane Snapper. Great boat and great gear. Would highly recommend!! …
Had a great trip with Captain Beamer. He did a great job making sure the trip was fun, entertaining and productive. We caught a variety of fish including a nice snapper dinner. We were very surprised to see a couple turtles making baby turtles! A memorable, great day for sure! …
We told Captain “Beamer” that we want to catch a few eaters and would also like to try for something bigger and just have some fun! We started out looking for something big and after a bit we hooked into a huge King Mackerel. Cpt Beamer did a great job instructing me on the best way to get it in the boat and we landed it successfully! The rest of the day we spent fishing for dinner and landed a good pot of Snappers, along with Blow Fish, Shark, Catfish, and some others that we released back into the water. It was a great morning and we would definitely book with Beamer again! Happy Fishing! …
My wife and I had a great day out on the water today! The trip exceeded our expectations. It was a bit windy but we adjusted and we’re able to catch some Snapper. We even had them cooked up for lunch at one of the local restaurants.I would recommend this trip for other couples looking fun in the Keys. My wife fished for a while but then just preferred to watch and enjoy being out on the water. Mark worked hard to find us some fish and took care of everything that we needed. Once again it was just awesome to be able to say we fished the Keys and we have some great pictures to back up our stories. Thanks Mark! …
Went out early with the goal of catching fish for consumption. We came back with a dozen fish, mostly yellowtail snapper with a few mangrove snapper. Th fish were biting on EVERY cast. You either pulled a fish in that was a keeper, too small, or not an edible type, or you lost your bait to those crafty fish! We stayed in the same location for the entire trip because of the active fish. Kudos to Mark for a great day. Highly recommended! We then had yellowtail snapper for lunch at a local restaurant as they prepared our caught fish for us! …
