Guided by Neal Goodrich
Captain Neal was born eight miles from Oak Hill, in a three story building that served for a hospital at the time. His family has a rich heritage; settling in the area in the 1800's and remaining here to work the land and the sea. Throughout the years they worked in orange groves and on the river catching fish, and eventually opening a wholesale/retail seafood market that operated internationally.
Captain Neal has been operating a boat since he was nine years old. Since that time, he's never wanted anything more than to work on the river. In the years since, he's learned every nook and cranny of the area and knows the habitat and feeding habits of every species of fish in the area. Book a trip with him to see what fishing here is all about!

We loved our trip with Captain Neal! Him and his family have so much interesting history with the town and river. You can tell he’s a very experienced fisherman through his knowledge of the best fishing spots and the species. He’s friendly and has a great sense of humor. We caught a lot of black drum and red drum along with snook and spotted trout. It was a great time even in the off season. Highly suggest Neal for your quick morning trip! …

Nice boat, nice captain, nice catch and nice ride. Captain Neal went out of his way to ensure a good experience for my wife and I.
We had a fantastic trip with captain Neal! He really knows his stuff. He was friendly, patient and really wanted us to catch fish! We had some windy weather making it more challenging, but that did not stop him from putting us on the fish. We had a great time and experience. I would recommend him and this trip to anyone. Great guy, he even cut our keepers up and bagged them for us when we got back to the dock! Thanks captain Neal for a great day on the water! …
I set up a fishing trip for my boss and his friend with Captain Neal and they had an amazing morning with the Captain. I received emails from both of them as soon as they got off the boat telling me how good a time they had. Captain Neal was very communicative about potential bad weather and facilitated an amazing trip for my boss and his friend. Thanks, Captain Neal! …
Despite the harsh weather conditions it was nice to get to go out in the mosquito lagoon where we had never been before
I would highly recommend Capt Neal! My girlfriend and I had an awesome experience! We were catching fish within five minutes of getting to the spot! Capt Neal really knows what he is doing and is very laid back and fun to be around. We will definitely be coming back!
