Captain Rob has always loved the water. He is from Northern Indiana, which is home to hundreds of freshwater lakes. His love of the water grew stronger and drove him to follow his dream of being a charter captain. He and his family reside in Southwest FL, and love it here. Captain Rob holds a U.S.C.G. Master Captain's license, so you can be sure you'll be in good hands on the water. He has a strong passion for boating and his number one priority is safety while providing a fun filled day! On this fishing trip with Captain Rob, you'll fish the inshore waters of Estero Bay, Matanzas Pass, and Southern Pine Island Sound, looking for a variety of species including Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Seatrout, Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, and Gag Grouper (when in season). While Captain Rob can accommodate 6 guests having 6 rods going at the same time, making casts to surrounding fish becomes incredibly cumbersome. So Rob likes to fish 4 people at a time while two look on and lounge about the boat. And trade off throughout the trip. There's no shortage of action either so don't let that disaude you! There's a little bit of everything on this trip; you'll get the enjoy the beautiful scenery, catch fun fighting fish, and take home an excellent dinner! You'll mix it up on this trip, using a combination of trolling and light-tackle fishing, changing your baits and lures depending on the weather, season, and target species. Captain Rob will take you out on his 25' SeaQuest center console, powered by a 300HP Suzuki engine. This boat is perfect for navigating the costal waters you'll be fishing.
