You will leave the dock at the Freeport Marina around 6am and book it out 100 miles offshore where the water is between 300-1000 feet deep. You can expect to encounter some crazy specimens at these depths. Thus you'll be using heavy tackle to bring in the large snapper, 50 lb Gag & Black Grouper, big tuna, blue marlin, sailfish, swordfish and wahoo to name a few. Though you can catch them while the sun is up, most of these monster specimens like to feed at night which is why it is advantageous to stay overnight!
