Captain Seth grew up on the water. Fishing has been a part of his life since he was a kid and the older he grew, the closer it became to him until he started fishing professionally 8 years ago.

Power Ranger Charters Trips

Join Captain Seth on this picture-perfect fishing adventure in the calm waters of Choctawhatchee Bay and the nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Whatever you want to catch, Captain Seth can put you on it, whether that means targeting Redfish and Speckled Trout with light spinning tackle over grass flats and oyster bars, or hunting Snappers and Groupers around docks, bridges, jetties, and the nearshore reefs. Depending on the time of year, you can expect to catch Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Blue Fish, Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, and Black Drum as well. On a longer trip, you can also choose to go further off and troll for speedy fish such as Mackerel, Mahi, and even Wahoo! Most of the time, you'll be throwing live baits, but Seth can easily accommodate more experienced anglers who want to try their skill on artificials. You'll be fishing from the deck of Captain Seth's 22' Ranger bay boat, a super-popular boat that's ideal for fishing in all kinds of water and weather. She's got a t-top to keep you out of the Florida sun, and a 200-HP Yamaha to get you on the fish fast! Everything you need is provided and comes loaded aboard. All you need to bring is sunscreen, a good pair of polarized sunglasses, non-marking shoes or flip-flops and a camera. A clean cooler with ice is provided on the boat, so feel free to bring your beverages and food of choice. No glass, please. A cooler to put your catch in at the end of the trip is also recommended! Captain Seth was great! Very flexible with times due to weather. Several good fishing stories, and everyone had a great time.

We really enjoyed our trip. Seth was a super cool captain and very good with our children. Caught some fish in the bay right off the bat and would do it again next trip. Super fun! Highly recommend!

Seth was the absolute man. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He knows what he’s talking about, he’s super experienced, and as customer friendly as it gets. If you want a solid trip. This is the man to do it with.

All I can say it that it was interesting. Our trip was scheduled from 7-10am and we boarded his boat a little before 7. Instead of having the bait ready, we took a 20 minute boat ride so he could buy bait for the day. It went downhill from there. We basically fished 3 places on Destin bay that even a guy who had never been on the bay could've chosen. A grass bed by the coast guard station, a rock jetty and bridge pilings. We boated zero fish from these spots. The final spot was fishing a cove that was basically 2 feet deep of crystal clear water and obviously we caught nothing there. At that point he did offer to go back to the grass bed but I had seen enough of his guiding abilities to know we were done. After a long boat ride back, in his anger, at full throttle thru relatively rough water, we get back to the dock. He asks for payment and I ask him what he thinks is fair. He states full price is what he thinks is fair. I told him that was really BS but didn't hesitate to provide the QR code for payment. After scanning the code I mentioned to him that he might want to pursue a different line of work since he obviously wasn't very good at finding catchable fish. I have seen better equipment at garage sales too. Half the reels didn't work properly and we all had issues with that. All of that aside, we paid in full but I did not tip him and we started our drive home. At this point I started to receive nasty texts from Seth Litton. He said he was going to tell all the captains in the Destin area to never take me or my family out on a guided fishing trip. He called me a cheapskate for not tipping. It was unreal. I received 3 nasty texts in all even after I told him to cease contact with me. I know there are some good guides out there. Anyone can catch fish on a good day. Guides are paid good money to at least catch a few on bad days. And in the rare event you don't, and it has happened in the many times I have done this, they will always offer you a future discount on a trip or discount the trip you just took. Neither of these happened. Looking back, from the poor equipment, the fact he didn't even catch local water bait, the places we fished, etc., I should've known this guy just simply wasn't up to the task. It's a shame it cost me 550.00 to learn that. Due to all of this I will probably never take a trip sponsored by Captain Experiences again. People will say there are 2 sides to every story but what I have stated here is 100% factual truth.

Great to work with, answered all questions we had for him. Very nice and prompt in what he was doing, kept the party active and ready to fish. Encouraged us along the way, would refer him to anyone and look forward to hopefully enjoying some fishing again with him one day!

We had A stellar day on the water with Captain Seth. He was at the dock ready to go when we arrived. The night before he had suggested we skip the bay and fish the gulf which ended up being the right choice. The day was beautiful with 2-3 foot swells. We saw dolphin on the way. We enjoyed the ride out to the first fishing spot with Seth providing insights to the area as well as giving us a rundown on the day and the fish we would be catching. Before Captain Seth could grab the second pole, my son was already pulling up the first fish, a large red snapper. Out of season, bummer! That set the tone. We caught fish all day and ate a portion of it that night. The 5 of us on the boat all took turns at brining in Amber Jacks and we were able to keep the two biggest ones. More than once we had 3 poles with fish on at the same time. Two poles with fish on to many times to count. Seth was fun to be with. He was attentive and personable. It was a blast watching him help my daughter bring a large amber jack. It was a great day with my family and captain Seth. I will recommend him to my family and friends. A great way to spend the day away from the crowds. Loved it.
