First Mate Zach has been fishing the South Carolina waters for years. He specializes in all types of fishing, especially flounder gigging. Fishing is his passion. Having three children of his own, he is great with teaching kids how to fish. No matter your age, Zach will be there to assist with your catch and provide tips and techniques for all.
First Mate Tony has experience fishing all over the country. Seasoned in bottom fishing and west coast style fishing, Tony brings his knowledge to the east coast and is more than qualified to put fish in the boat.
Anchor up in some inshore deep holes and wait for the reel to SCREAM! Big Red Drum are also possible! Great for children and adults that want a short trip, but a big fight! Captain Matt will provide all you need for a great day battling these apex predators including all the tackle, bait, iced down cooler for food and drink, bottled water for all clients, all necessary safety gear, and life jackets. Destinations include artificial reefs and natural live bottom areas up to 9 miles offshore. Typical catches include black sea bass, vermillion snapper, red snapper, triggerfish, amberjack, cobia, sharks, and other species. For these trips, you'll be fishing out of Captain Matt's 30' Contender Center Console, that has a cruising speed of 33 Knots and can handle up to 4 passengers on these trips. Captain Matt will get you all set up with top-of-the-line fishing gear with spinning and conventional gear available. Your license is provided along with all bait and tackle but feel free to bring along your own if you prefer. The boat comes loaded with bottled water and plenty of ice and cooler space for your use.
