Hi, I'm Bryan. I'm a licensed bass fishing guide and I will use my extensive knowledge of the area lakes to provide the best guide service available. I have over 46 years of fishing experience, but have been focused solely on freshwater techniques in the past 26 years while guiding for over 24. My total commitment to the sport and future of bass fishing ensures that every trip is an informative experience.
Experienced anglers will appreciate my knowledge of the lakes and productive fishing techniques. Beginners will enjoy learning to catch fish as I will provide instruction in a patient and effective manner. I will work hard to provide a memorable fishing trip tailored to your interests.
In addition to providing a top quality, client-focused fishing guide service, I also compete in local, regional and national bass tournaments. I compete in some of the regions top circuits including Texas Team Trail, BassChamps, MLF and other local and state tournaments. I've also fished in the local BASS Regional events where I've won the title of Angler of the Year for the North Central Region which includes over 38 bass clubs along with many top 10 and top 5 finishes. It's a great honor to have accomplished this with so many great fishermen and fisherwomen in this region. I have also competed in 5 different bass clubs, getting AOY in all of them 7 times combined.
Spring Fishing report: Several lakes are fishing good right now in the central Texas area. We are catching 15-30 or more on a half day trip on Travis, Decker, LBJ and Buchanan. There are other lakes doing good as well. There are fish shallow and deep, but the big fish are shallow right now as they are spawning or close to it. If you are after that fish of a lifetime or just bigger fish, Lake Falcon and Choke Canyon is producing some great quality fish right now. It's always a great time to get that child on some fish. Choke Canyon is a fun lake. Any cast can be a giant. You can also view more wildlife here while out fishing than any other lake you can go to, including the state's largest alligators. No worries though, they won't hurt you. We can use just about every kind of presentation possible to catch bass. Lake Falcon is also a very fun lake. This lake holds the strongest bass on the planet. Must be the salsa in the water as it's located on the boarder and half of it's in Mexico. No worries though as we stay on the Texas side and it's perfectly safe on this side. Any cast here can be a giant as well and hopefully you'll get it in the boat as they are STRONG! We catch a lot here flipping, cranking and throwing jigs. You can sometimes go through several bags of plastics on 1 tree. Crazy. You may heard of O.H.Ivie as it has produced a lot of giants in the 13-17 pounds class.
